Bachelor degree in an ABET accredited electrical engineering EE program and 1 year of work experience or concentration of coursework and projects coop acceptable to demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of the following Power system analysis, including steady state, contingency and realtime data analyses; Performing basic pre and post N1 contingency analysis and monitoring outage distribution factors for lines using either EMS or PSSE tool; Using Siemens or GE EMS to perform actual and postcontingency highlow voltage analysis; Ensuring realtime reliability of EMS network application; Using PI Historian or GE eterraplatform application to extract and organize historical data; and Using Python or Perl scripting language. ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. Acceptable alternatives are 1 a Bachelor degree in EE nonABET, plus a Professional Engineers PE license in any state of the U.S. or 2 a Bachelor degree in EE nonABET plus a Master degree in EE from a university with an ABET accredited Bachelor program.
