Fluency in the Japanese language is required to fulfill the duties of this position.br Miyoshi America Inc. is a subsidiary of Miyoshi Kasei, Inc., a pioneer in development manufacturer of surfacetreated pigments in Japan. In order to create the best skincare products and generate the best synergy with the RD team of the parent company in Japan, the Senior Chemist Manager of RD Lab must liaise and discuss with RD managers of Miyoshi Kasei, Inc. in Japanese to share RD test results, report RD progresses, discuss quality, and exchange uptodate technical information. In addition, since approximately 70 of raw materials purchased are from Japan, the Senior Chemist Manager of RD Lab must communicate with potential suppliers in Japanese at least 80 of the time, to procure the best materials by discussing quality and negotiating specifications in order to provide the best materials for our RD activities at Miyoshi America Inc. In other words, because our Senior Chemist Manager of RD Lab will use Japanese on a daily basis, it would be extremely difficult for a Senior Chemist Manager of RD Lab to fulfill the duties of this position without complete fluency in written and spoken Japanese. Therefore, fluency in Japanese is an absolute business necessity for the Senior Chemist Manager of RD Lab position in question.
