We are also a national leader in home lending with loan centers across the country.br br As a key member of the Treasury Team with Flagstar Bank, the Quantitative Financial Analyst 2 is a position that requires an individual with an advanced level of knowledge and experience in financial and quantitative modeling, valuations, and risk analysis. The individual must possess sophistication in these skill sets to effectively perform the duties of this position and to respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders, as required.br br It is necessary that the qualified individual possess, at a minimum, a Bachelors Degree in Finance, Economics, Applied Mathematics or a related field of study and a minimum of four 4 years of experience in financial and quantitative modeling, valuations, and risk analysis. Alternatively, the Bank will accept a Masters degree in the stated fields of study and 2 years of experience in the required skill sets.br br Through the required formal education and experience, an individual acquires the technical skills and ability to develop and maintain financial models that are utilized in risk measurement, income simulations, balance sheet management or asset valuations, including testing of established financial and quantitative models. These financial and quantitative skills are essential to effectively fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a Quantitative Financial Analyst 2 with Flagstar Bank.
