Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field with GPA of at least 3.5 plus 2 years of experience in investment banking andor private equity. This must include 2 years of experience inwith excelbased financial modeling and valuation; equity and option capitalization tables; convertible preferred mechanics; warrant valuation; financial and economic analysis micro and macroeconomic analysis, to evaluate industry and target company growth, risk and profitability levels including analyzing financial statements, company valuations and public filings; industry research including conducting surveys and interviews with customers, suppliers, competitors, regulators, former employees and other industry experts; working with outside consultants on research projects; conducting management team interviews; developing processes to source investment opportunities; structuring, analyzing and negotiating transactions as a private equity investor in the financial services industry andor technology industry; developing investment strategies and frameworks; preparing and presenting written and oral investment recommendations that convey the potential risks and investment returns in a clear and simplified manner. Must have demonstrated proficiency with Bloomberg terminal and MS Office.
