Specific Skills

This position requires a bachelors degree or equivalent in Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering or related field plus 5 years of engineering experience. In the alternative, the Company will accept 7 years of engineering experience. The five 5 of engineering experience in H.10A or the seven 7 years of engineering experience in H.8C must include demonstrated ability which may have been gained concurrently with each of the following 1 Technical leadership for automation groups including software, hardware and installation ensuring deliverables are ontime and within budget; 2 Manage and execute automation engineering projects from the concept phase until the end of the warranty period at customer site; and supervise the team completing the project; 3 Support and supervise the installation and commissioning of automation engineering projects, providing automation engineering project coordination regarding quality, scheduling and cost control; 4 Provide technical and commercial leadership throughout all assigned automation engineering projects; and 5 Provides technical assistance and training to customers in the field, and prepares proposals for technical solutions for customer inquiries. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently. Travel required 2 times per month 12 days at a time for project meetings, sales support and troubleshooting.
