Specific Skills

Must have taken graduate level RF Circuit design and RF Systems Engineering courses. Hands on experience building and debugging electronics control systems is a plus. Analog design experience in the DC to 10 MHZ range is ideal. RF drivers and resonating RF heads used to apply hundreds of volts peak to peak of RF. Electronics CAD experience. Schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium Digital design experience, generally developing interface electronics, level conversion, etc. An understanding of analog and digital design with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot existing designs. PCB layout experience and ability to work with PCB fabrication facility to build unique PCB electrode designs. Ability to select rack stack test equipment to test systems and enable experiments. Embedded control firmware development capability is a plus. Software development experience on PC systems.
