CEVA Logistics is a global company specializing in designing and implementing industryleading solutions in both freight management and contract logistics. The position of Senior IT Systems Engineer is not entrylevel; it is an integral part of growing and maintaining our operations and allowing our business to achieve customer objectives. In order to work through issues with new development as well as support the existing code base, heshe must be skilled inwith Platform Engineering and Quantitative Risk Analysis. Heshe must be skilled inwith SDLC, Project Scope Analysis and Documentation, and TFS Version Control in order to direct software programming for a largescale multitier application development environment, working with C#, ASP.Net, SQL Server 20082012; engage in gathering and analyzing solutions for issues, creating design documents, coding, unit testing, and integration testing to meet full SDLC form; direct software programming and development of documentation by providing user training, generation of help documentation, and research development; and engage in Matrix Supply Chain Management and Matrix Transportation Management Systems. Additionally, heshe must be skilled inwith Platform Engineering and Quantitative Risk Analysis in order to modify existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces and improve performance; and develop software system testing and validation procedures. Lastly, in order to interact with different teams, such as product solutions, architecture, development and testing on project status, proposals, or technical issues, heshe must be skilled inwith SDLC, Quantitative Risk Analysis, and Quality and Process Framework Models. Without a theoretical background in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Electronics Communication Engineering, or related, gained through at least a Bachelors degree, the applicant would not have the foundation in IT systems knowledge required for the role. The knowledge must be combined with at least 5 years of experience in software development to demonstrate heshe has handson, realworld experience to perform the duties required. Each required skill directly relates to the duties to be performed. The applications and systems used to perform the job are extremely complex and integral to the wellbeing of CEVA Logistics. Therefore, we have determined that the job duties and minimum requirement of a Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience bear a reasonable relationship to the occupation in the context of our business, and are essential to perform the job in a reasonable manner.
