cont. from H.11 participate in all phases of urban infill development projects including urban design, mixed use regeneration, urban revitalization, urban planning, streetscapes, land use and transportation, open space planning projects, conducting site reconnaissance, site investigations and onsite charrettes; assist with establishing task schedule and manpower requirements consistent with the project agreements; assist in identifying weekly project requirements and projecting long term needs; assist in identifying and qualifying tasks outside the scope of the OwnerArchitect agreement for negotiation of additional services.br br Requires Bachelor of Architecture 5 year or foreign equivalent plus 2 years of experience to include assisting in predesign and all phases of international and domestic largescale mixed use, retail, entertainment, high rise residential, cultural, museum, institutional, education, and commercial projects, including new construction, interiors, parking garage, unit plans, and site planning; analyzing sketches, photographs and site surveys of existing conditions and materials to determine best approach for client needs; preparing presentation sketches, drawings, image board presentations, building physical models using digital fabrication such as 3D printer and laser cutter, highly detailed 3D virtual models for concept design presentations, and presentation packages using 3D software; editing layouts for concept design, design development and construction drawings, incorporating LEED sustainable design principles and building systems into architectural designs; translating clients functional and spatial requirements for site and structures into conceptual design solutions, produce 2D 3D hand drawn renderings in pencil, ink and markers for design development; performing space planning; incorporating custom detailing into designs; preparing space plans to program a facility based on an analysis of client space needs; preparing program area tabulation and determining phasing, estimating population projection, applying local population assumption ratios for various regions; researching domestic and international building codes and regulations, collecting data, and writing reports and presentations to incorporate research and data into architectural designs; making corrections as indicated by Project Architect and Project Designer to inprogress sets of design development and construction documents; assisting in Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment Schedule, including developing and detailing fixture packages and finish selection; coordinating conceptual design drawings with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection MEPFP, structural, and lighting consultants to incorporate engineering systems into architectural designs to produce construction documentation and secure client and regulatory approval; coordinating project data, transmission and all electronic communications using Newforma or other approved software; coordinating with local architects, consultants and contractors; reviewing shop drawings, samples and mockups performing necessary modifications of drawings and specifications as construction projects progress including changes in dimensions, materials, finishes, etc.
