Requires two years of experience in repairing electrical and mechanical equipment of inboardoutboard boat engines using technical knowledge of marine mechanics; repairing boat structure and fixtures using fiberglass and resin; and installing, troubleshooting, and repairing boat control panels and consoles as well as underlying electronics and analog systems using computerized diagnostics systems.br br Must have successfully completed technical product coursework from a major marine manufacturer, including Yamaha, Mercury, or Evinrude.br br Must be able to operate 40 foot motorized vessels offshore for water testing. Must pass drug and criminal background check. Must be available to work flexible hours, up to 60 hours per week 5 am8 pm during peak season from April to August, including weekends.br br Addendum to I.c.8. Because the area of employment is a rural area that does not have a newspaper with a Sunday edition, the required newspaper ads were placed in the weekend edition of the newspaper with the widest circulation covering the area of intended employment.
