Bachelors degree U.S. or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline. Two 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related position. Prior experience must include two 2 years with designing and developing front end and back end Java and Scala applications; writing software using a variety of modern scalability techniques, including RESTful interfaces and microservice architecture; utilizing modern data storage platforms including SQL, HBase, HDFS and Elasticsearch to store and provide high speed query solutions; communicating clearly and precisely with end users to understand requirements, needs and provide application support; SDLC version control systems, including GitLab and SVN; Java test frameworks, including Junit Spock, and experience with how test framework management, execution and output integrates with build environments including Jenkins; UNIX operating systems, including Linux, and Bash scripting; developing distributed computer jobs using the Apache Spark framework; and enterprise data lake, including experience with data ingestion, milestoning, validation and refinement. Prior experience must include one 1 year with front end development in modern JavaScript framework; and developing within the Agile methodology, focused on incremental, iterative work sequences known as sprints.
