Specific Skills

This position requires a Masters degree or equivalent in Metallurgical Materials Engineering. The position requires demonstrated experience with welding processes and metallurgy which may have been gained as part of a Masters degree program. Must also have demonstrated ability with each of the following welding processes and control; metallographic characterization of welds; welding metallurgy; advanced high strength steels AHSS for automotive body structure applications; and welding solution development to optimize weld quality. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently. Will accept experience gained before, during, or after Masters program. 10 time travelling to customer facilities and other ArcelorMittal RD centers to participate in technical exchanges.
