Equivalency may be determined by an independent credential and work experience evaluator.br br This is a key position with MAG Automotive LLC, responsible in part for the development of manufacturing CAD to optimize metalremoval for manufacturing processes in flexible powertrain CNC turning systems; development of CAPP Simulation models using Siemens and NX CAM; generating of CNC code from APT code using postprocessors; and performing CAD modeling of tools using Siemens NX, Autodesk, and Inventor. Because this is a key and critical position, requiring extensive knowledge of, as well as experience with, applicable concepts and issues, a Bachelors Degree in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or foreign equivalent education, or education and experience equivalent to a Bachelors Degree in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, and 3 years experience working in the Machine Tool industry, is required, as the position involves working with Siemens NX, Autodesk, or Inventor; analyzing CNC applications for practical use on precision machine metal processing; optimizing manufacturing processes using CAD, simulation, postprocessing CNC machining; and analyzing CNC applications for practical use on precision machine metal processing.
