Prior experience must include seven 7 years of experience with Java application and library development; developing in distributed systems with applications and persistence technologies that run across data centers and geographies to achieve high availability and resilience; architecture and design of distributed systems; Software Development Life Cycle SDLC best practices, including proper use of version control, code reviews, continuous integration and testing; working across the entire Software Development Lifecycle SDLC for product development, including requirements gathering; functional and technical design; development; user acceptance testing; release procedures; change request analysis; and production support; development and enhancement of Relational and NoSQL databases; and working with data models, data contracts, test case writing, user acceptance test criteria design, development and execution, and functional and technical requirements definition. Must also have five 5 years of experience with managing teams and individuals across different locations and time zones; managing projects from initiation to implementation, including riskissue management, project communication, and project governance; working concurrently on multiple development projects and managing complex, multifunctional programs; coordinating project components across multiple teams; developing and maintaining program milestones and delivery tracker; building and leveraging dynamic infrastructure in private and public cloud; working with Spring Boot or other javabased microservices frameworks; working with distributed asynchronous messaging systems such as Kafka; working with distributed, big data database systems including MongoDB; interviewing, recruiting and building teams; examining processes, reviewing workflows and making recommendations to develop functional improvements; working as a software developer or solutions architect, or supporting technology platforms for operations, trading andor compliance; and working closely with business users, including quantitative analysts, traders and sales representatives to implement technical solutions.
