Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, or in a closely related or equivalent field. 8 years of product development experience for new products. Experience to include 3 years of project or program management experience for tooled or machined mechanical assemblies or 3 years with electromechanical assemblies; 3 years of new product introduction NPI or product launch experience; 1 year of toolmaking experience; andor, 1 year of molding experience. Candidate must be willing to achieve PMP certification at the Companys expense.br br CONTINUED FROM SECTION H.11br Suggest project budget and labor needs for current and future site needs for individual, assigned projects. Remain accountable for overall project success, including cost, schedule, quality, and scope management. Balance the cost, schedule, and timeframes against enterpriselevel project requirements. Report project status, issues, and implemented solutions as well as evaluations and assessments of the results. Provide leaders with updates, including opportunities for improvement. Recognize potential problem areas against the plan and identify and implement alternative solutions. Identify bestcost solutions to reduce costs by streamlining processes and systems i.e. modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of nonvalue added processes, or complete reengineering of processes and systems. Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively, making customer issues a priority. Design and facilitate training related to implementation of enterprise initiatives. Approximately 25 domestic international travel required.
