Specific Skills

The position requires a Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, or Finance with a concentration in Insurance, plus 5 years of work experience in the reinsurance intermediary industry, including property catastrophe, property per risk, proportional and workers compensation lines of business, including earthquake and managing general agent MGA insurance and reinsurance; establishing renewal strategy and execution plans; creating, delivering and marketing client presentations; submission preparation and technical analysis of portfolio; program design and cost benefit, profitability analysis; market intelligence and pricing guidance; negotiating reinsurance placements with underwriters and managers; coordinating prepost binding due diligence procedures; advising clients on future developments, strategies and growth opportunities; and coordinating financial strategic advisory support and rating agency guidance.
