3 years of experience in a design engineering position with an automotive Tier 1 roofing system supplier. 3 years of experience with each of the following design engineering for electromechanical automotive roof systems using NX or CATIA; ensuring that automotive roof systems are designed in compliance with Appearance Approval Processes, NVH and SR, and environmental durability and governmental safety regulations for glass breakage, antipinch, and homologation; designing automotive roof system operational mechanisms for glass panel and sunshade movement; exterior vehicle water containment and management processes for automotive roof systems; and automotive plastic injection molding, aluminum and rubber extrusion, and steel stamping processes. Experience can be acquired concurrently.br br This is a key senior project engineering position with Inalfa Roof Systems, Inc., responsible for leading the design and implementation of complex automotive sunroof modules and roof systems in accordance with all operational, cost, timing, safety, reliability, quality, and manufacturing criteria. Because this is a key and critical position, requiring extensive knowledge of, and experience with, applicable concepts and issues, a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Automation Engineering, or foreign equivalent, and 3 years of experience in a design engineering position with an automotive Tier 1 roofing system supplier, is required.
