Background in education, training or experience must include ability to work with financial reporting documents from Latin American operations including Brazil; indepth understanding and ability to apply IFRS International Financial Reporting Standards as well as U.S. GAAP Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and be able to distinguish between the two; management level finance and accounting experience in the metal packaging industry; ability to understand foreign markets, foreign taxation, and international business practices as they relate to metal packaging; thorough knowledge of foreign currency transactional and translation gains and losses, and the ability to explain the difference; ability to communicate well verbally and in writing with Latin American management teams, joint venture partners, and U.S. management; proficiency in Hyperion and Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
