Requirements Earned doctorate in Japanese Language, Japanese Linguistics, Japanese Language pedagogy or a closely related field in hand by August 2020. Native or nearnative proficiency in Japanese and English. Excellent record of prior teaching experience at a U.S. institution. A strong commitment to undergraduate teaching, service across the institution, scholarly activity, and enhancement of the Japanese and associated programs. Experience with proficiencyoriented instruction. All employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation, as determined by the University of North Georgia in its sole discretion. Primary teaching responsibilities will be on the Universitys campus in Dahlonega, GA; May also be required to teach on the Universitys campus in Oakwood, GA.
