cont. from H.11 prepare project data using MS Word, Excel and Power Point; assist the Project Manager in establishing task schedule and manpower requirements consistent with the project agreement; assist in identifying weekly project requirements and projecting long term needs; manage project data and communications using Newforma Outlook; assist in identifying and quantifying tasks outside the scope of the OwnerArchitect agreement for negotiation of additional services; assist in managing project consultant agreements and project budgets; assist with reviewing and approving contractor payments; evaluate and manage bids, estimates, and contract budgets; coordinate with project managers, clients, consultants, and contractors to respond to requests for information RFIs, change orders, clarifications, and modifications; review shop drawings, submittalscut sheets on materials, lighting fixtures plumbing, fire protection, security, mechanical and electrical equipment; conduct site visits and progress meetings; prepare field observation reports, final inspections, and project closeout, including punch lists, and record drawings.br br Requires Bachelors degree in Interior Design or foreign equivalent plus 2 years of experience to include analyzing client needs and utilizing independent thinking to develop approaches in all phases of architectural interior design for international and domestic K12, Higher Education, Transit, Corporate Interiors, Hospitality and institutional projects, including new construction renovation, expansion, and tenant improvement, ranging in size from 1,000 sqft to 4,000,000 sqft, from predesign, concept design, schematic design, design development through construction documentation and construction administration, including initial concept development, diagrams, space planning, custom detailing and research for building codes and barrier free compliance; preparing test fit to analyze plan efficiency for building options; collaborating with developers or property management clients to establish efficient tenant rental spaces based on facility management knowledge; developing a list of required drawings and cartoon set for schematic design phase and beyond; developing workplace strategy and workstations for clients; developing customized workstations, millwork and furniture to incorporate ergonomics and clients requirements; preparing presentation documents to deliver design intent and present optional design features and variations to clients including space relationship diagrams, departmental schematic space plans, elevations, sections and perspectives, illustrative sketches, models or renderings; using free hand sketches with ink, color pencils, markers, 2D3D modeling rendering programs including Revit, AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lumion, Enscape and InDesign to develop designs and prepare presentations; coordinating computer renderings with outside rendering firms to communicate interior architectural design concepts; producing construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD including reflected ceiling, finish, furniture, power data, and life safety plans, elevations, sections, details and schedules.
