Specific Skills

Position requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or related field of study, plus 5 years of experience in the job offered, or as an Actuarial Analyst, or similar Actuarial position. Must have 5 years of experience working in the commercial insurance industry. Must also have 3 years of experience working in Reserving and 1 year of experience working in Pricing Governance. Additionally, specific experience must include leading longterm projects with a strong emphasis on communication to various business functions and management; working with Towers Watson software ResQ, Emblem, and Radar; and using SAS. Must be a Fellow in the Casualty Actuarial Society FCAS or have an equivalent foreign professional actuarial designation, such as Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries FIA. Must be willing to work extended hours during peak periods. Must be willing to occasionally travel within the U.S.
