Specific Skills

In H.4 and H.4B above, the education requirement is a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Engineering or related. Employer will accept a combination of postsecondary academics and work experience evaluated as the equivalent of a U.S. bachelors degree in lieu of a U.S. bachelors degree.br br In H.6A and H.10B above, the experience requirement is six 6 months of experience in the job offered or six 6 months of experience as a process engineer, commissioning engineer or a combination thereof. Qualifying six 6 months of experience must be with complex automation equipment and processes in high volume and highquality automotive environment or in similar heavy machinery industries.br br Special Requirements Work experience to include Launching a minimum of three 3 high volume automotive equipment programs; At least one 1 of the following skillsets i Fastening and Torque Tool process application with Atlas Copco Powerfocus, Powermacs automated tools, and Galaxy networked data manager; ii Press Snapfit assemblies using direct current torque tools; or iii Direct current torque tools logic programming from various Vendors such as Atlas Copco or Bosch Rexroth; Central Maintenance Tooling management; Maintenance database setup and management; Process characterization, validation and control using statistical data analysis, and Sixsigma methodology Sixsigma exposure acceptable, certification not required; Interface with Programmable Logic Controller and Human Machine Interface Rockwell Automation, Allen Bradley or RS Logix; Creating technical specifications for automated process equipment and tooling; Transitioning process from development to high volume production; Introducing new products and new processes into a production environment; and Providing product design changes to improve manufacturability DFM. Successful completion of reference and background checks is required.br br Special requirements defined at H.14 not to be conflated with H.6 andor H.10A.
