Qualified applicants will possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field and 5 years of experience developing software for complex electromechanical systems. Will also accept a Masters degree in listed fields and 3 years of related experience. Requires experience in CC programming and multithreaded applications; object oriented programming; realtime software applications and RTOS; Unit testing and software verification processes; working in a regulated environment in compliance to ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820; developing GUIs and QT framework; developing applications in Linux and other Posixcompliant operating systems; working with I2C, SPI, and other device interfaces; working on Linux Kernel and Linux Kernel Drivers; configuring and building Linux Kernel; writing software requirements in medical device space and working with quality and regulatory teams to ensure standard compliance throughout the SDLC; developing testing setups to test realtime software and hardware interfaces; developing networked applications, including TCPIP, UDP protocols, and custom networked IPC frameworks; and networking fundamentals.
