Bachelors or higher degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field willing to accept foreign education equivalent plus eighteen months of experience providing research and development tax credit and incentive services. Experience must include eighteen months of building credit models using Microsoft Excel based on quantitative and qualitative inputs, and consolidating clients information, including acquisition and disposition, tax position, and industry news to optimize clients credit and incentive opportunities; reviewing client work papers and performing variance analysis and trend analysis using Microsoft Excel to ensure consistency and completeness of source data and sufficient document retention; collaborating with internal and external specialists to determine qualifications of projects and drafting technical memoranda; creating project work plans and monitoring progress to ensure timelines are met for research and development tax credits; and interacting directly with client tax management to collect and organize payroll and general ledger source data for credit and incentive analysis. Less than 20 travel outside of normal commuting distance.
