cont. from H.11 perform necessary modifications of drawings and specifications as construction projects progress and changes in dimensions, materials, and other aspects of design arise from client, agency or public input; incorporate LEED sustainable design principles and strategies into projects, participate in LEED documentation and commissioning process, prepare 3D energy models to evaluate daily sun exposure, analyze heat loads, and maximize energy savings using ladybug and prepare Title 24 compliance reports; apply architectural principles to review all related shop drawings, submittals, samples and mock ups; assist the Project Manager in establishing task schedule and manpower requirements consistent with the project agreement, in managing project consultant agreements and project budgets, and in identifying and quantifying tasks outside the scope of the OwnerArchitect agreement for negotiation of additional services.br br Requires Bachelor of Architecture 5 year or foreign equivalent plus 3 years of experience to include assisting in predesignplanning and all phases of international large scale multistory mixed use, retail, entertainment, high rise residential, cultural, museum, institutional, education, and largescale commercial projects, including new construction, interiors, streetscapes, and site planning; translating clients functional and spatial requirements into feasible design solutions; preparing and incorporating weather data analysis to identify passive design potential based on the local climate and building use to minimize building energy needs and maximize the energy savings; analyzing sketches, photographs, notes, and other input material to determine best approaches for completion of drawings to solve technical issues of design in relation to sites and buildings; coordinating with civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection MEPFP, lighting, landscape, code, traffic, parking, zoning, curtain wall, special systems, vertical transportation, and structural consultants to create a unified design concept that can obtain client and regulatory approvals; participating in meetings with clients, consultants, and public agencies on a given project and coordinate for client and agency review and approval; researching domestic and international building codes and regulations, collecting data, and writing reports and presentations to incorporate research and data into architectural designs; developing site analysis studies requiring site photography, code research, base drawings, and diagrams; developing concept alternatives, studies and development requiring 3D digital massing, floor plans, space plans, building elevations, sections and perspectives; developing interior plan layouts of different types of projects in various scales including office building, apartment building, retail podium; preparing design visualizations using Maxwell, Octane, Premiere, and Photoshop; providing ongoing development and support for all sustainable design platforms and working closely with designers and delivery leadership to guide the transition from traditional sustainable design process and standalone environmental analysis practices into integrated design and analysis processes in collaborative work environments; settingup automated parametric optimization workflows using available and custom developed scripts to connect 3D modeling tools, building environmental analysis tools and evolutionary optimization algorithms to optimize the building shape andor building envelope and provide quick feedback on the performance to rest of the design team; working in conjunction with sustainable design leadership in the continued improvement and development of highperformance design to maintain and improve the quality and consistency of design environment and deliverables; cont. in K.9 Job 1
