Must have five 5 years of experience with Leading investment due diligence across many sectors on private and public companies including building operational, financial and econometric models, assessing management teams, conducting expert interviews, and conducting multichannel marketing efficiency assessments; Conducting primary market research and analyzing data using techniques, including conjoint analysis, customer cohort analysis, total addressable market analysis, cluster analysis, and customer segmentation; Mapping market landscapes and assessing competition across key variables including unit economics, cost of customer acquisition, revenue, and EBITDA Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization; Demonstrating corporate finance knowledge across many sectors both in private and public markets and utilizing accounting methodologies, including acquisition accounting, deferred tax accounting, Net Operating Losses NOLs, stock compensation, recapitalization, calculation of trading multiples and operating ratios; Performing complex MS Excel modeling skills and creating robust valuation models for public and private companies, utilizing methodologies including leveraged buyout modeling, discounted cash flow, relative value, and sum of the parts, leading to critical investment decisions; Communicating with senior members of management teams CEO, CFO etc., investors, industry experts consultants to conduct business diligence and source investment ideas and opportunities; Structuring transactions in equity and debt securities, both in public and private markets; and Developing valuation screenings tools using data providers, including Bloomberg and Capital IQ to source public and private investment ideas.
