Requires a masters or foreign equivalent degree in automotive engineering or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience performing systems engineering and vehicle testing. Also requires 3 years of experience using Calibration Tools, including ATI or ETAS, calibration trackingmanagement tools, and MATLAB; developing and validating calibrations for electrified powertrain systems for efficiencyfuel economy and drivability; applying US and international market regulations and testing requirements for efficiencyfuel economy and emissions certification; developing market specific calibrations to meet regional standards; testing, validating, and improving powertrain control strategies and software; reading Simulink flow diagrams and C programming source code; managing software releases and calibration parameter lists and complying with calibration release processes; and delivering to powertrain deliverables for software and calibration during the vehicle development process in support of program milestones. Requires 2 years of experience coordinating with crossfunctional teams of software developers and calibration engineers; and leading timely delivery of calibration releases and milestones. Must hold a valid drivers license. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
