Specific Skills

The two 2 years of experience required in Section H must be RD experience in chemical engineering or related occupation. Experience must include two 2 years of experience, which may be concurrent, in all of the following 1 establishing thermoplastic products design and performance requirements, formulations, process requirements, technical and processing specifications; 2 optimizing production efficiency for manufactured and marketed thermoplastic products and systems, investigate ways of reducing the cost of manufacturing products; 3 responsibility for projects related to new product and technology development, process and equipment analysis, development and optimization for products supported; 4 working with a companys Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing, Warranty, and Purchasing departments on defined project priorities, project scope and future development directions; and 5 applying thermoplastics formulation and testing techniques PVC and TPO, thermoplastic sheets extrudercalendaring process, polymer stabilization for processing and weathering, predictive testing for thermoplastics products. This position requires travel primarily domestic 510 of the time. All experience may be gained concurrently and may have been gained before, during or after completion of the Masters degree program.
