Position requires experience with the following 1 Designing and executing experiments to determine the effect of food ingredients and processing conditions on the attributes of a food product 1 year; 2 Working with food product shelf life testing, management, and extensions; 3 Using knowledge of chemistry, food science, and engineering for food product commercialization from concept through implementation, including designing and developing new products, processes, and improvements to existing products from initial idea to finished product; 4 Applying U.S. regulatory requirements to food production, including working knowledge of FDA, USDA and FSMA requirements; and, 5 Applying food process design principles for sanitary design of new product development or improvements to existing products 1 year. Some travel up to 1015 may be required to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Experience can be gained through academic coursework andor work experience.
