Specific Skills

Requirements Masters degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology or a related area required or an equivalent combination of education and experience; a minimum of one 1 year of coaching experience; a USSF or NSCAA license. Must have knowledge of soccer, strong oral and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, high ethical standards and ability to relate to work with a diverse faculty, staff, students and other publics, and must be willing to obtain certifications in CPRFirst Aid. This position will require a background check and a DMV check. All employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation, as determined by the University of North Georgia in its sole discretion. Incumbent is frequently away from assigned work deskphone due to official UNG work responsibilities or travel and requires real time communication with others. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. Note that H.15 is not applicable, as the optional special recruitment regulations for university teachers 20 CFR 656.18 apply to this case and do not restrict a combination of occupations, and in any case this position is not a combination of occupations because there are not two distinct skills sets required to perform the duties.
