Full term of experience must include Honeywell Avionics systems development life cycle; architecture, requirements and product development of aircraft systems including displays, flight management systems, communication and navigation radios; knowledge of software development in accordance with RTCADO178 software considerations in airborne systems and hardware development in accordance with RTCADO254 design assurance guidance; familiar with high speed digital interfaces such as ARINC 429; proficient with avionics bus communications standards such as ASCB, CAN and LAN; managing systems, hardware and software documentation using version and change management tools such as ClearCase, ClearQuest and DOORS; creating and reviewing technical schematics, logical and functional diagrams, and engineering specifications; handling FAA regulations and guidance material and industry standards; engineering analysis of ASCB flight test data to investigate flight test observations; expertise in ADSB systems and standards; knowledge of avionics and related equipment, technical standard orders, and minimum performance standards; managing complex sets of requirements; preparing and presenting design reviews for complex, highly integrated systems; defining system controls, crew indications, and flight manual procedures; and testing, including instrumenting, data acquisition, and documenting and analyzing results. Approximately 50 domesticinternational travel required.
