Experience may be gained concurrently. Requires international and domestic travel as needed to perform the position duties, including but not limited to travel for worldwide trade shows, design studios, and material vendors to evaluate new trends, benchmarking other manufacturers to improve current colors, designs, and products.br br Business Necessity The Product Design Specialist position requires seven 7 years of experience of new product development as it relates to ceramic tile production for the following reasons need to have experience of the various decorating systems available in ceramic silicone technology; digital prints; need to know the various digital printing machines and software which has changed a lot in the last seven years; need to have knowledge of digital inks which evolved deeply in the last seven years; and need to know how to start a new product creation; need to know Photoshop in a professional way. Furthermore, besides obtaining the abovementioned knowledge, putting in practice is critical and exposure to several products development different looks in different technology, different plants, RD and conditions.br br The Product Design Specialist position requires five 5 years of experience in virtual room scene design because the first two years are usually needed to get to know and use software in a professional way, then two to three more years of experience is needed to learn the following how to recreate the shades, lights, and reflection; how to manipulate objects, take objects and place in the rooms, and erase objects and recreate background; how to do print tests on paper to print catalogues and marketing elements in a way that provides a realistic representation; and how to manipulate perspective in order to achieve a final environment more similar to a real room.br br The Product Design Specialist position requires five 5 years of experience in inkjet technology. One year is needed to understand how the different inkjet machines work as well as settings, and how the graphics have to be adjusted to avoid defects created by the characteristics of machines and applications. Two to three years are needed to understand how the different inks perform in terms of how they have to be combined and how they react with the different glaze systems used in different plans and in different technologies. One year is needed to be able to create new profiles. One to two years are needed to understand how to change the graphics in relation to the profiles as well as the ink and glaze systems. Cont. see H.11.br br We submit the above to demonstrate that the articulated job duties and requirements bear a reasonable relationship to the Product Design Specialist position in the context of DalTile Corporations business and are essential to perform the Product Design Specialist position duties and functions in a reasonable manner.br br As listed in Section I.e.23. of this form, employer has not received payments of anybr kind from the foreign worker or from any third party, including employers attorneybr fees.
