Prior work experience must include three 3 years with Sell or Buyside equity research, specifically covering all of the following sectors Asset Managers, Brokers, Trust Banks, and Exchanges; utilizing understanding of accounting and finance principles, including ability to fluently read and understand company financial statements 8K, 10Q, 10K; constructing company and industry financial models and performing valuation analysis including relative multiples, discounted cash flows to determine the fair value of a companysecurity; analyzing the competitive landscape for companies in Asset Management, Brokers, Trust Banks, and Exchanges; utilizing knowledge of statistical techniques and general macro modeling to conduct analysis to identify and test the efficacy of broad themes and specific ideas and analyze trends; conducting financial statement analysis and financial modeling for companies in Asset Management, Brokers, Trust Banks and Exchanges; utilizing indepth knowledge of the U.S. financial markets to quickly find and analyze information made available by public corporations; developing and maintaining financial models for covered companies; experience with complex financial modelling within Excel; utilizing valuation and modeling skills to develop an appropriate cost of capital, absolute valuation methodologies DCF, FCF, calculation of returns on investment, sensitivity analysis, debt and leverage analysis using Excel; interacting with investor relations contacts and senior management; interacting with clients, equities sales force and traders to provide investment views on sectors and companies; and experience with creating industry and company specific reports and presentations within Word and Powerpoint.br br Must have experience with Asset Management, Brokers, Exchanges, and Trust Banks industries; financial modeling and valuation analysis of Asset Management, Brokers, Exchanges, and Trust Banks; operating and maintaining proprietary databases based on inputs from data providers such as Morningstar, Dealogic, and eVestment, among others; detailed financial writing aimed at communicating company specific thesis to investors supported by financial analysis and valuation within sectors; relationship with management teams of covered companies and other industry contacts; and strong relationships with investors in Asset Management, Brokers, Exchanges, and Trust Banks.br br FINRA Series 7, 63, and 87 licenses required. Certifications CFA Charter Holder required. Travel required 10 of the time to attend company and client meetings and industry events.br br H.4A and H.4B Contd Minimum Educational Requirements Bachelors degree U.S. or foreign equivalent in Finance or Accounting.
