Bachelors degree or equivalent in CivilStructural Engineering from an ABET accredited school. Seven years experience in structural engineering, to include Structural analysis and design for electrical substations and transmission lines, and foundations reinforced concrete, anchorage, structural steel and connections using RISA3D, PLSTOWER, PLSCADD and MathCAD; quantity estimation for construction bid preparation for electrical transmission andor substation projects including materials procurement and management; and field engineering including site visits related to structural observations. Three years of which must include structural engineering in seismic regions; development of technical project specifications; client coordination, business development and business planning; consulting in the transmission and distribution industry; project management including proposal development, project planning, design, team coordination, budget, schedule management; and mentor and train lower lever engineers. Professional Engineering licensure. In lieu of a Bachelors degree plus seventhree years of experience, a Masters degree or the equivalent plus fiveone years of experience and licensure are acceptable. This position requires domestic travel to worksites 20 of the time.
