This position requires 3 years of experience in designing multistring downhole milling tools and single string milling tools; 3 years of experience in Solidworks; 3 years of experience with FEA software, including Abaqus or ANSYS, with knowledge in performing both static and dynamic analysis to model downhole tool erosion; experience with Downhole Tool Design especially in the area of plugging and abandonment, fishing tools, and downhole camera; experience in designing wellbore cleanout tools such as Multi Purpose Tool MPT, Riser cleanout, and wash over tools; experience in designing and sustaining downhole camera used in high temperature harsh environments; experience in designing and developing fixtures that can simulate the downhole environment to test and validate tools design obtain required certification; experience with tool testing, prototyping, and manufacturing; experience in performing root cause analysis on field failures and initiate design changes; experience with assembly tools specific to downhole oil and gas to perform assembly tasks, including operating specific tools related to downhole hole tools such as Torque Master; and ability to lift 50 lbs. Addendum to H.4., H.8., and H.10. Position requires a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or the foreign equivalent and 3 years of related engineering experience.
