The American News is the newspaper with the widest circulation in the area of intended employment Brown County, South Dakota, and the advertisements were published in the editions for Saturday, September 7, 2019 and Saturday, September 14, 2019.br br Aberdeen, South Dakota, is a rural area as it does not fall within a standard metropolitan area MSA. American News is the major newspaper of general circulation serving the area, and it is the most appropriate newspaper to reach the largest number of able, willing, qualified and available U.S. workers who would be likely to apply for the job opportunity. Prior to July 2019, American News was published daily Monday through Sunday, but is now distributed daily Monday through Friday, with a weekend edition that is published on Saturday. American News confirms that the weekend edition of the newspaper has the widest circulation. In addition, the South Dakota Newspaper Association SDNA www.sdna.comdirectory which shows the overall circulation figures for newspaper publications in South Dakota based on USPS Ownership Statements, reports that American News is the third most circulated newspaper in all of South Dakota, after Sioux Falls Argus Leader in Sioux Falls, SD over 200 miles from Aberdeen, SD and Rapid City Journal in Rapid City, SD over 330 miles from Aberdeen, SD. For these reasons we followed 20 CFR 656.17e1iB2, and placed two consecutive advertisements in the weekend edition of American News on Saturday, September 7, 2019 and Saturday, September 14, 2019.
