Bachelors or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field willing to accept foreign education equivalent plus eighteen months of derivative valuation and model validation experience. Experience must include eighteen months of performing independent validation process in accordance with SR117 guidelines on various financial models, including credit risk models and pricing models; implementing SAS, R and Python scripts to test financial models for model soundness and projection performance; assisting with model validation on wholesale credit loss forecasting models for global investments banks in the LGD component; utilizing Excelbased valuation tool to build pricing models for a variety of bonds and swaps; generating comprehensive assessment reports for various financial models to ensure compliance with federal regulations; communicating with clients regarding model performance and recommending remediation solutions to address model limitations; performing fair value estimation of various financial instruments, including fixed income products and derivatives; and performing model validation on market risk capital loss forecasting models and analyzing the models assumptions and methodologies in the PD and LGD components. Less than 10 travel outside of normal commuting distance.
