cont. from H.11 coordinate all parts of the building and resolve conflicts between architecture, structure, mechanical, electrical and plumbing; apply architectural principles to review all related shop drawings, samples and mock ups, assist with evaluating general contractor bids and project budgets; assist the Project Manager in establishing task schedule and manpower requirements consistent with the project agreement; assist in identifying weekly project requirements and projecting long term needs; assist in identifying and quantifying tasks outside the scope of the OwnerArchitect agreement for negotiation of additional services; conduct site visits and progress meetings, prepare field observation reports, final inspections, project closeout, including punch lists, and record drawings.br br Requires Bachelor of Architecture 5 year or foreign equivalent plus coursework or internships to include assisting in predesign and all design phases of multistory mixeduse, housing, highrise residential, largescale corporatecommercial, hotel, retail, entertainment projects, including new construction, renovation, tenant improvement, parking garage, and unit plans; meeting with client representatives for presentations and workshops, analysis of goals and needs, developing programmed space spreadsheets, narrative summaries, room data sheets, adjacency diagrams, graphic content, and preparing final Developed Project Program document; researching domestic and international building codes and regulations, collecting data, and writing reports and presentations to incorporate research and data into architectural designs; developing site analysis studies requiring site photography, code research, base drawings, and diagrams; interpreting traffic impact analysis and analyzing as built plans, photographs, notes, and other input material to determine best approaches for completion of drawings to solve technical issues of design in relation to sites and buildings; developing site design alternative studies requiring site plans, site sections, 3D digital massing and physical site modeling, site survey of existing conditions and taking as built measurements; developing concept alternatives, studies and development requiring 3D digital massing, floor plans, space plans, building elevations, sections and perspectives; developing exterior envelope design requiring enlarged plans, elevations, sections, details and axonometric drawings; preparing client and public presentations, workshops and meetings, using 2D3D CAD and building information modeling programs, including Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Lumion and SketchUp, analysis and computer skills to develop 3D building computer models and images, and presentation images; developing documents for all design phases, schematic design through construction documents including documenting architectural plans, elevations, and details in imperial or metric standards for jurisdictional agency corrections using 2D3D modeling using Autodesk AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, Autodesk Revit and related 2D and 3D Modeling software; developing positive client relationships and working as the clients advocate by identifying and balancing client expectations within the context of contractual obligations, corporate goals, and client satisfaction; translating clients functional and spatial requirements for structures into feasible design solutions, incorporating custom detailing, structural engineering principles and building systems into architectural designs; producing design documentation and presentations with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint and freehand sketching; cont. in K.9 Job 1
