Specific Skills

2 years of experience overseeing highway earthwork and structures construction projects and highway construction crew required. 2 years of experience managing drainage, erosion control, and asphalt paving for roadwork projects required. Must have experience using heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers with machine controls, asphalt pavers, asphalt rollers, bidwellscreed, and pile hammers. Experience keeping time and completing safety paperwork required. Experience reading grades and DOT construction plans required. This position involves 75 of work within commuting distance of Raleigh, NC and travel up to 25 to supervise highway construction projects at various other unanticipated worksites in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
