Bachelors degree U.S or foreign equivalent in Accounting or a related field. Three 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Must have three 3 years of experience with preparing and reviewing financial statements; U.S. generally accepted accounting principles GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards IFRS; FASB ASC 946 and its applicability to investment companies; generally Accepted Auditing Standards both U.S. and international; Microsoft Office suite of applications including PowerPoint presentations, Excel pivot tables VLOOKUP; performing regulatory reporting; coordinating reporting andor audit response across multiple internal and external teams; and managing reporting and accounting projects concurrently under tight deadlines. Additionally, must have some experience with SEC financial reporting in a banking environment including the review of Forms 10Q and 10K; U.S. bank and broker dealer laws and regulations; SarbanesOxley SOX controls for key bank cycles, including loans, deposits and derivatives; financial reporting controls in an investment bank; and derivative instruments in an investment bank.
