Per DOL regulations, onlybr potentially qualified U.S. workers must be notified of the job opportunity. Conduentbr had one layoff in a position similar to the PERM position. We respectfully note thatbr the laid off worker is not a potentially qualified U.S. worker and, therefore, DOLsbr notification and consideration requirement is not triggered. Specifically, the Conduentbr manager who had direct knowledge of the laid off workers experience and the essentialbr job duties involved in the occupation for which certification was sought, evaluated thebr laid off workers qualifications.
