Preparing single line diagrams, equipment elevation diagrams, electrical site plans, electrical instrumentation and control plans, schematic diagrams, control panel layouts, panel and wire schedules. Preparing PIDs. Preparing PLC and SCADA network block diagrams. Incorporating design changes using AutoCAD. Performing site visits and generate asbuilt plans. Performing service load calculation and power system analysis, including load flow, short circuit, overcurrent protective device coordination, and arc flash. Preparing projectspecific technical specifications using CSI and SpecsIntact standards. Meeting project schedules and perform work within budgetary constraints. Preparing status reports, preliminary design report, technical memoranda, project manuals, responses to client comments and other projectrelated documentation. Preparing project schedules using MS project. Preparing fee estimates. Attending client meetings to coordinate various design activities. Evaluating the condition of electrical equipment in the field and making recommendations to customer related required electrical upgrades. Preparing complete project construction cost estimate and equipment procurement list. Reviewing submittals and provide responses to Requests for Information. Understanding NEC and other regulations associated with electrical safety and construction. Designing fire alarm, security, and other low voltage systems; lighting and lighting control systems; substations and medium voltage distribution systems; and IC systems. Designing of several types of facilities e.g., offices, laboratories, pump stations and wastewater treatment plants using a. power system modeling and analysis software e.g., SKM PowerTools, ETAP, Easypower, AmpCalc; b. lighting design analysis software eg., Visual, AGi32; and c. AutoCAD. Performing other duties as assigned by project manager. Presenting results verbally and in writing.br br Requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and one 1 year of experience in job offered or one 1 year of experience in the Related Occupation above. Must be a Licensed Professional Engineer PE in the State of California. Beneficiary has the equivalent of a US Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Southwest Jiaotong University China received on 12152009 confirmed by educational evaluation prepared by American Evaluation and Translation Service dated 08122016.
