This is a Managerlevel position, and we would not hire anyone for this position who did not possess these qualifications. This employee must have the indepth, complex, and theoretical understanding of operations planning, process design, and supply chain analysis, design, and management, gained through a university degree. This educational background is necessary in order to provide the level of production, scheduling, and reporting knowledge and expertise required of this position. Because this employee is responsible for developing executable production plans and schedules, as well as developing and actively managing capacity plans and generating supply scenarios and strategies, her ability to produce, coordinate, and manage the execution of production plans and schedules must be excellent. Because of the nature of this position, the advanced responsibilities it entails, the highly specialized duties specific to the tightly regulated pharmaceutical industry, and the serious impact of supply chain and operations planning on our research efforts, we have determined that a combination of a degree and handson experience is necessary. Specifically, the position requires a Masters degree and 2 years of experience working in a supply chainplanningmanufacturing role.
