The position requires a Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and 3 years prior experience or a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and 5 years prior experience. Qualified candidates must have at least some experience designing, developing, and documenting efficient Extract, Transform, Load ETL processes for data sources and targets including Oracle, MySQL, Flat file, XML, JSON, MS SQL server and SAP, and designing, developing, and documenting efficient Application Programming Interfaces APIs. Qualified candidates must have demonstrated knowledge of cloud based data applications, big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Presto, and Hive, working knowledge of PowerCenter 9.x, Sesame Relational Junction, and SQL query language, working knowledge of relational database design and analytic star schema data models, basic knowledge of Object Oriented programming techniques esp. Python, Linuxbased operating systems, and shell window commands. ANY SUITABLE COMBINATION OF EDUCATION, TRAINING OR EXPERIENCE IS ACCEPTABLE.
