Must have at least 3 years of prior work experience in each of the following 1.High volume transactional payment gateway platforms. 2.Architecture, Database design, and RDBMS like MS SQL Server, PostgresSQL, MySQL etc. 3.Partitioning and managing large datasets for OLTP and OLAP systems. 4.MS SQL Server PeertoPeer transactional replication implementation. 5.AlwaysON High Availability HA and Disaster Recovery DR implementation with MS SQL Server. 6.Performance Tuning and Optimization PTO, using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools like SQL Sentry or Database Performance Analyzer DPA. 7.Evaluate, recommend, configure and optimize enterprise solutions for various database systems like MS SQL Server, PostgresSQL, MySQL etc. 8.Experience working in Agile environment. 9.Monitoring all production database activities for operational improvements to include CPU, Disk, memory utilization, space utilization, security infractions and overall performance of databases. Position requires telecommuting, applicant may reside anywhere in U.S, reports to HQ in Lake Oswego, OR, any incurred business travel will be fully reimbursed. Must be willing to travel internationally if needed.
