Specific Skills

Position requires a Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering, or a related field and four years of related industry experience. Requires four years of experience with product development processes; documentation writing; FDA class 3 medical device development as per FDA guidance 21 CFR 820; medical devices standards, including ISO13485. Requires experience with LabView, Minitab andor equivalent statistical tools; Providing technical leadership on crossfunctional teams to communicate effectively with offshore projects, and with virtual development teams. Requires 2 years experience with the following design control and quality systems; lab performing tissue based bench testing along with radio frequency ablation technology and testing in a regulated, medical devices environment; design control; engineering change orders; corrective actions; preventative actions; and drafting engineering submission documents for FDA. Up to 20 international and domestic travel is required.
