Experience must include one year of performing substantive testing on complex areas of clients balance sheets and income statements, including management estimates and consolidations; performing audits under Generally Accepted Auditing Standards GAAS, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles GAAP, Public Company Accounting Oversight Board PCAOB, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants AICPA auditing standards, SarbanesOxley SOX, and International Financial Reporting Standards IFRS; utilizing audit software, including engagement management software to perform risk assessment procedures, substantive and control testing, and tracking and forecasting for audit engagements; auditing and reviewing financial statements, including annual reports and quarterly financial information; designing, implementing, and testing internal controls in accordance with American Institute of CPAs AICPA, SarbanesOxley, and COSO Frameworks, and assessing any deficiencies; interacting directly with senior management of audit teams and audit clients to discuss auditing findings, issues, and resolution; reviewing and testing the accuracy and completeness of footnote disclosures as well as reviewing for overall reasonableness of MDA Managements Discussion and Analysis sections within financial statements; performing accounting research to resolve issues during audits or compliance engagements, including researching and navigating Authoritative Guidance SEC and Edgar Filing Manual reporting requirements, XBRL.US guidance, FASB Accounting Codification literature, IFRS literature to support the audit processes; utilizing Audit Data Analytic tools, including Argus, Optix, IConfirm, Excel Analytics, Signal, ACL, and Disclosure Analytics, as well as advanced Excel tools, including Pivot Tables, VLoopup, and macros, to perform audits; and mentoring and coaching junior staff. Must possess CPA license or passage of all four parts of CPA examination. Less than 10 travel outside of normal commuting distance.
