Specified experience must include 5 years of experience with each of the following manufacturing of polypropylene products, including extrusion and palletization; experience with formulation control and standard operating conditions for polypropylene products; experience managing process changeover procedures and line clearance activities for polypropylene products; experience documenting development plan and executing trials for raw material evaluations and new product commercial development; experience with analysis of performance data and physical property data to ensure conformance to specifications and operations performance; and experience with twin screw extruders direct engineering and troubleshooting experience. Must be fluent in Spanish.br br Will accept any suitable combination of education, training andor experience.br br As a matter of business necessity, it is essential that a candidate for this position be fluent in English and Spanish. As stated in H.11, the primary duties of the job relate to establishing and maintaining process profile guidelines for industrial production processes for new and existing BOPP Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene films products and providing engineering oversite to South American business lines; and providing technical support to US plant and ensuring transfer of knowledge to South American plants. This requires the incumbent to act as the translator and the lead communicator to maintain adequate communications with the various South American plants. A majority of the incumbents duties require fluency in Spanish and the job offered could not be performed in a minimally competent and acceptable manner by a candidate who was not fluent in Spanish. Mr. Erick Sagahn Guerrero, who is the beneficiary of this PERM application, is fluent in Spanish, which is required in order to perform the duties of the position of Process Engineering.
