Experience must include at least 3 years exp working as a midlevel or senior associate at a Top 25 overall U.S. law firm as ranked by Vault, or at a firm of fewer than 50 attorneys recognized by Benchmark Litigation or comparable ranking, as well as at least one year of overall experience practicing law as an Associate andor as a Judicial Law Clerk in a commonlaw jurisdiction outside the United States.br br 3 years exp as a MidLevelSenior Associate must include serving as first chair in taking and defending depositions or directcross exam of witnesses; managing largescale discovery; supervising teams of 5 associates, paralegals and legal staff; working directly with clients, witnesses and experts; trial experience; and primary responsibility for drafting briefs and client memoranda; experience working on multijurisdictional and crossborder matters, international investigations, FCPA and other corruption laws, commercial litigation and securities matters including the Securities Act, the Securities Exchange Act and the Investment Company Act.; experience with highly complex litigation matters as evidenced by the precedential value of legal issue andor monetary value in excess of 500 million; proven ability to develop business, including with respect to global law matters, as evidenced by having brought in a matter, or having established relationships with attorneys practicing in the U.S. and internationally.br br Qualifications of the Foreign National As detailed in Sections J and K, the foreign national holds an LL.M from Harvard Law School 2012 ranked #3 by U.S. News2019. While at Harvard Law School, he demonstrated academic excellence as indicated by his being awarded a summer academic fellowship 2012. Mr. Rodney also holds a JD equivalent law degree from Cambridge University ranked #3 in law by QS Rankings2019. While at Cambridge, he demonstrated academic excellence as indicated by his graduating with first class honors receiving several scholarship awards. He is admitted to the NY State Bar as of April 2013.br He also possesses 5 years of experience as an AttorneyJudicial Clerk, specifically at Cravath, Swaine Moore LLP and the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts. This experience is inclusive of 3 years experience as a midlevelsenior associate at a Top 25 U.S. law firm as ranked by Vault Cravath, Swaine Moore LLPranked #1 by Vault2019. Mr. Rodney also has in excess of one year of experience as an Associate or Judicial Law Clerk in a commonlaw jurisdiction outside the United States Cravath, Swaine Moore LLP, London, UK, and The Supreme Court of Israel.br br Regarding Section H.12, the employers requirements for the position are normal. As indicated by DOLs ONet source, the Lawyer occupation requires a JD or LL.M and several years of specialized experience. The petitioner is engaged in the practice of complex international litigation and thus requires an attorney skilled in this field. Moreover, as noted in the OOH source, to practice law in any state, a person must be admitted to that states bar.
