The Position Requirementsbr A. Knowledge and Skillsbr br The required knowledge and skills required for proffered position are advanced knowledge of law as well as human rights law and the ability to research using law books, or the interpretation of statutes, regulations, and other legal authority.br br Graduation with a baccalaureate degree is required as well as completion of one years worth of law school.br br Must have the ability to fluently speak and write the Farsi Persian language.br br Will be called upon to translate documents and oral communications between Farsi and English for attorneys and other legal staff communication with clients.br br B. Responsibilitiesbr br On a daily basis, the law clerk will be responsible for assisting the attorney in preparing memoranda, drafting pleadings, researching, and communicating with clients and completing various forms for immigration and other areas of law as needed.br br The Law clerk will assist the attorney in preparing for court appearances andor trial as needed.
