Bachelor Degree in Accounting, and at least one year of experience in each of the following Manage the accounting processes including invoicing clients, accounts payable, accounts receivable, month end close, general ledger journal entries, and preparation and review of financial reports. Recurring journal entries for monthend close including payroll, prepaid expenses, intercompany transactions, accruals and cost allocations, customer invoicing and application of cash payments in the Accounts Receivable system, and revenue recognition and cost of sales. Prepare monthly and annual financial reports for upper management team. Work with accountant on preparation and filing of local, state, and federal tax forms based on local, state and federal tax requirements and labor and industry regulations. Assist with the development and enhancement of accounting policies and procedures and monitoring of internal controls, ensuring adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles GAAP. Provide effective communication with top management regarding accounting and financial concepts and issues. Work with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, SharePoint, QuickBooks, and Paypal invoicing. Multitask in a fast paced environment, worked independently and in a team environment.
